The thing that really puzzles me is why SonyEricsson is losing market share.
Here in Sweden they must be gaining market share I think. I see a lot of people with SonyEricsson phones everyday. And it's much more common than it was 1-2 years ago. Ok.. I know that Sweden isn't exactly the largest market in the world, but could there really be that much of a difference in say rest of europe for example?
And another thing, who the hell is buying all the Motorola phones. I mean they are nothing special, and they are not cheap either. I guess they have to sell really well in the U.S. Strange...
There must be some other markets out there where SE are doing really bad. |

I live in a small town in north yorks (English county) and the t68i is more prolific than I expected. In the month or so since owning this phone two of my associates also own the same model, this makes it a lot easier to trade pics etc. On the street over the past month I have noticed 2 individuals using this models plus a couple who came into my workplace messing about with a t68i and mca-20. To put this in perspective in my good town I have never seen anyone using a 7650, t100 or even a 34 or 3510!!!!.

If we were being honest, and some of you are not, then we would agree that the 68 is nearly a year old. The nokia 7650, not even a month on market. Nokia will always win because they cater for the common man and the criminal (sorry but it is true look at the theft statistics). SE have only ONE phone on the market. You can not suggest therefore that they have a small market share.....yet. Although the whole SE jv thing came about because Sony only had 4% market share in the EU.

Don't U guys see it ? Nokia is reducing prices because of the 3650 !! They want the 7650 to become obsolete by that time (I think)
Then next year, BANG!! they hit the market with MORE colour phone that are equiped with cameras ! While that they make as much as they can with the 7650 !!
Justzz my thoughts
WAKE UP !!

Might as well wait for new Nokias cause I think by the start of next year, Nokia will come out with smaller phones of similar config.
The 7650 was just a rush job to test public response...
See ? the 3650 is smaller...getting smaller no ?

Did you guys check out how many phones delivered in Asia Pacific?
OK! Lets make the area smaller.
How about in the Philippines?
Philippines is the Nokia Heaven. Everywhere you go you can see people holding their Nokia cellphones.
has a good reputation here (check the forum with a lot of hits)
Even you combine all the sales in Europe, I think it will be out numbered by users in the Philippines.
Philippines is the TXT capital of the world.
Telecom companies are making Millions in just one minute through TXTing here in the Philippines. (1$ = P52)
(There are 11 million people alone in Manila, 74+ million the whole Philippines.)
People here like Nokia because of the SMS graphics. That is why Nokia did not change the software design until they release 7650.
SMS graphics will become obsolete with the introduction of the MMS.
I think will make some money when they will introduce their mass market T300. .
Hope they will lower the price to compete with 3310/3315 (this phones are ugly and easily breaks up) which cost only $100.
