hi all i brought a t68m of a m8 and he said he had it upgraded to a t68i
how do i no that he is telling the truth
the software version on the phone at the moment is:

R1B is the first software release for the ordinary T68m....
you can see it quite clearly when turning on the phone.... if you just hear a beep and see a sunrise it's T68m software... if you hear a short melody and see a animation with the logotype it's the MMS upgrade software...

so if i go to the sony ericsson site they will tell me where the closest service centre is to upgrade it

yeah... either that or call your local helpdesk.... or search Esato, cause servicepoints and their locations have been discussed quite alot  |

maybe.... maybe not... some servicepoints take a charge for it... some do the upgrade for free.... |

does it have to be a servicepoint
i went to the sony-ericsson site and typed in my address details and it found the closest dealer around my area, does that mean i can take it there and they will do it
also how long does it take
will the do it there and then or send it away

you can leave it to a dealer as well... they will send it to a servicepoint.... but this means it will take some extra days due to transportation.... where do u live? |

carphonewarehouse do the upgrade for free, call up your nearest branch and ask them where the nearest service point is and they can direct you and advise on timeframes etc....it's free even if you never bought the phone from them.

dial 192 from your phone, ask for the Carphonewarehouse phone number....ring them and ask them all you want to know.
