BIG PROBLEM!! i was updating the phone and the update didnt work (something about connection problem). the phone was on and ok at that time but then i came back to check on it and it was turned off. i disconected USB and tried to turn it on but DIDNT WORK. i reinserted battery and also tried to charge it BUT STILL DONT WORK! it doesnt turn on at all.. what can i do! Ive tried the recovery mode on SE, didnt work, ive tried taking memory card out didnt work.

The only thing i can think of is to take it to an SE service centre.. but theres NONE IN birmingham!!

if it really needs a service centre then...

there used to be one in Birmingham...

gittins communications birmingham 0121 4861010 (mentioned in this service locations post. might be worth seeing if they are still there.

if not, call Sony Ericsson on 08705 237 237 to see if there is another but if not, they will probably just tell you to send it to their main repair centre

Hays technology 01295 662101

hope that helps

edit: btw, if the phone is less than a month old you might also try taking it back to the place of purchase

if u have warranty, service is for free, but first they have to check it.
