I doubt they'll give you a replacement if its over 30 days old. I'd say The phone will be sent away for repair if you bring it back to Orange.

Seems as if those faulty joysticks are fast becoming legendary...

The bad quality of Sony Ericsson devices is becoming legendary.
Luckily i have a new job and if my phone funks out i can get a new one but others arent so lucky.
They need to sort it out. Build quality, battery covers, joysticks and making sure the Sony Ericsson phones are built under strict quality control rather than making each one squeak different to the other! Its not hard! My Samsung's build is amazing...

The joystick on my 6 week old V600i is also going a little dodgy. Looks like I'm going to have to take it in to be serviced. |

i hear so many complaints about joysticks and how they always go wrong etc and poor build quality. However i have had a t68i, t610i, k700i and now a w800i and all had joysticks and i havent had a problem with one! it is strange that this problem seems so hit and miss happening often for some and never for others?!

My K700 became really bad after a while it was hardly usable and now after not using it for at least 8 months it works perfect!
I wish they would use the S700 style D-Pad design. It lasts longer than those dodgy joysticks! |
