Hi I sure most of you don't care that I new but I thought I'd start of my first post. I've been looking around a lot on these forums for a lot of answers and it's been a great deal of help. I purchased the Sony Ericsson w800i about a month ago, and anyone else who own this will tell you that it's awesome. CNET says it's the worlds sexiest phone, and if you didn't already know it won the 2006 CES award for best innovation. Bet that f^8Kin ROKR! Anyways I've still have some unanswered questions that I come to believe there is nothing I can do about it. First I'm unable to send mail directly from my handset in the messaging menu. I can check my gmail but not about to send this. I've basically come to the conclusion with everyones help that unless T-Mobile USA allows there users to use there server for SMTP, sending messages, it's not going to happen. Besides you can't even view photos, or can you! I've tried gmailwireless.com and it works great kinda sucks though I have to DL the pics in order to view them.
The only other thing I've had trouble with it the my friends feature also in the messaging menu. I don't know how to configure the setting and I've tried to contact T-mobile but they are kinda retarded! So if anyone who reads this can help me out PLEASE I would greatly appreciate it. Other than that I want to thank everyone here for there help wheather they know it or not. |

Regarding your problem with the My Friends feature this may be of some use to you. You also need to register at www.yamigo.com.
My Friends using yamigo can be a bit temperamental at times but it is good when it is up and running.
Oh and welcome to Esato

Thanks very much, I thought about signing up for yamigo but from what I've read in here from people responses is just that. It's a pain sometimes but can be great when its working well. I'll give it a try.
Thanks a lot |

no doubt thank you very much!!! I tried amigo and I was able to connect. Only a few problems, I was able to see all my buddies from my AIM Buddy list, but they were all off line. When I connect to AIM on my computer that wasn't the case. Do my friends have to be connect to yamigo as well? And I also find it annoying all the IMs coming from News groups or what have you. |
