hi richa
as of late orange has started charging by the byte(10p/10kb). So orange may not be such a good option if you are planning to surf intensively. Moreover orange has not lisfted site blocks afaik. Airtel or Dolphin may be beter considerations.
Cheers

According to my experience with hutch (same thing) and of many other ppl, hutch had not been truly honest in way of charging you for their services (gprs/mms). They robbed me of a huge sum of abt Rs. 700 which wasnt justified.
Their biggest flaw is their cc! Its awful and ghastly. They really have to work on that one. Improving the quality of cc. The level of English of the staff is way below standard! They are not much of help. They are underinformed and undertrained, The whole idea behind cc is that the person behind the desk should know more than the person calling!
Their tariffs are quite high in the payg sector as compared to govt operators like bsnl/mtnl and cdma like reliance.
hope this helps

ya it does...quite a lot...thanks a lot...now one bone of contention is that all this is it true for orange as well. as in if we do not pay much heed to cc of hutch outside mumbai...is orange cc equally bad,...n secondly are the gprs rates that are quite low for airtel only promotional n are they extremely less in mumbai as compared to hutch...(airtel gives unlimited 5 rs per day in pune) if that is true with orange(mumbai) as well obviously this flat rate would be better than pay-per-use of hutch y pointed to. nd is the quality/speed etc of orange better than that provided by airtel in mumbai |

..speed/ service, its almost similar across Ops. But in Bombay Orange has got real probs with Network Load (more users per cell site) and GPRS Serv (Richa its called OrangeWorld & OrangeAccess for basic wap & full web access resp.) Promo is over.. Slight correction over Ayush, Orange (@least for me) in Bby HAVE REFUNDED SURFING CHARGES FOR POST PAY- though bill shows usage dets/chgs. > Aur Richa- iss baar Placements kab sei hein ? Are you at the Atur campus? Do I miss my 2 years at the erstwhile SIFT.. >
