Buying phones lots off Ebay - w800i's |
um4r Joined: Nov 19, 2005 Posts: 16 PM |
Is it dodgy or some maybe for real?
I just won for 550GBP, 41 W800i's, however they are all in China. The guy says they are for real and s*** but I'm asking him to send some proof or something.
Another bid I won, for 1000GBP, 25 w900i's, and the guy is in Germany and he is saying he will send the phones, if I like them then the money is processed.
It would be easier if it was in UK, I would just go directly and pick up...but these are outside.
I looked in the loot, and no one does such deals.
Any phone dealers here on this site? |

why you you try to win items before checking their validity?
anyway, these sort of things almost always scams.
I've looked at recently completed W800 auctions but don't see any lots of 41 going for £550. There are some lots of completed auctions with 41 W800 here but all are very low price
My advice would be not to indulge in these type of auctions

99.9% of the time they are dodgy. The W900i isnt even out yet and when they are I expect they will retail for at least £400 each.
Dont pay for them as you will never see the products.

I hope you don't end up with negative feedback for non payment

maybe you should have read what you were bidding on also! The W900i is not even officially released yet anywhere in the world, so what are the chances of you getting them?
Secondly, why do you bid on items then decide not to pay. I don't care what the item was but you should not bid if you don't intend to buy! You are the kind of person that gives eBay a bad name because of your stupid antics.
Oh and this

Please, oh please tell me you were joking! How many people would use the loot to sell lots of ten plus un-released phones.
this thread has made my day! thank you

they cant put with negative feedback because these guys who do this aren't really bothered about feedback and shit...they put their phones up, they know they are scamming so it doesnt bother them..
and usually the accounts they use on ebay are stolen accounts anyways...so feedback doesnt come into it so its alright in that sense. |

w900 is released in china/singapore, maybe other countries too.
why did i bid on it?....lol, coz i wanted to. i dont care if im not gonna buy it, i know what i bid on and what is realistic. i bidded on this item, won it...however am not paying anything anytime soon and i know, its not gonna have any negative feedback whatsoever coz it was a scam in the first place. period.

I second that, I know I'd always leave negative feedback if someone didn't pay for an item which they fairly won and forced me to offer a second chance bid or relist!
