Hi guys, just needed help regarding MMS. I'm trying to send an international MMS, from the USA to the Philippines. My service provider is Cingular and the recipient is using Globe. I've tried sending MMS numerous times, but the other party doesn't seem to be receiving them. I can send MMS locally, which I assume, means my phone settings are correct.

When its the other way around (MMS from Phil to US) I receive an SMS instead of an MMS, which notifies me of an MMS that I received, including a link to view the MMS with my internet browser. I'm assuming this means their MMS settings are correct.

If anyone has had success sending and receiving international MMS, please let me know. Btw, I'm using a P910 and the recipient is using a K700i. I've already contacted Cingular customer service and so far, all they were able to do was give me on-the-air MMS settings and told me to try using 01163 instead of +63. Thanks in advance.

There are alternatives... You could send the MMS to the recipient's email, for instance.

I think Globe does not have agreement with Cingular. I believe Smart does. You should check with Cingular and have your friend check with Globe (good luck) also to confirm inter-carrier MMS.

yeah right! (gudluck) I also had this same problem. Only my friend is in Canada and her network provider is Rogers, and mine is Globe. We checked from both providers and what they said is just a simple suggestion to send yourself and MMS... and check if you'll be able to send and receive it... duuhhh!!!

there are still many problems with mms sending/receiving between countries, it depends on contracts among operators and even there are some working offers, mainly the problem, who and how much should pay for the downloading, the sender or the receiver, i mean the oprator, not the customer.

me too, i can send MMS from my Cingular (Z525a) but the intended recipient in the Philippines using Globe does NOT receive it

but when using my Globe (S700i) roaming line in the US, it can send MMS and be received by another Globe subscriber in the Philippines
