As anybody tried the RDS fm radio on a long trip,did it automaticly change the frequency to a stronger signal,or like me did you have to press the search button every time the signal became weak.Also do you think the radio is as sensitive as it should be,i tried mine against a Sony SRF-S83 pocket radio and it was not as good. |

I thought it switched to a stronger freq of the same station. Like out by me. 92.7 north of Chicago, 92.5 west, 99.9 south. Same station. Going from the south suburbs to the north, it would switch from 99.9 to 92.7. |

on my way to work on the train each day I listen to mercury FM until the long tunnel just inside the M25 and then listen to Virgin radio.
I find with AF turned on, the phone excessively hunts for a better frequency to the point where I am listening to silence at regular intervals. For this reason I have turned this feature off and now have perfect reception the whole journey!
