I did not use the phone at all after removing it from the charge. This is weird because my battery is relatively new..about 3 months old. Thanks.

The battery meter is more accurate, simply because sometimes after a phone reboot your percentage goes up or down another 20% quite often. Also, ive also noticed if you check the percentage often like i used to, you become obsessed with it, over analytical and neurotic about it, and suddenly start to believe your phones battery is faulty if it drops 1% after a minutes use..
