I don't think it is a NEW T68...the icons looks like the ones I saw on a T68 with the coming softwareversion installed. I don't know what You mean with the joystick...? |

it is to my best sources , a upgraded T68 with the beta software for MMS and so on. it has a led behind a semi transparent "button" for the stick.  |

I know that the phone is almost the same, and that all the phones we have will get the R2B (MMS) upgrade for free.
But the phone in the picture has it already factiory installed, and the Joystick is Iluminated. Also at the bottom of the Front Panel it says T68M and not just T68 like the ones we have.
What is my point, The MMS upgrade should be soon available for us. If they are starting to sell phones with MMS installed is because they have the software ready.

those pictures are OLD... they were the first non official pictures of the t68... they are from around june... look at www.cellularmania.com ... its a beta version of the phone... and the ones the guy is selling is probaly just std t68's as the ones we have  |

So an illuminated joystick was scrapped.
I guess it doesn't matter... the lower part of it is illuminated on the phones we have.

I cant do anything other than laugh @ you who thinks thats the "new" T68.
First of all T68 is T68m like T39 is T39m. m means thats its a triband.

Mark : those pictures were some of the first pictures of the T-68,.."spy-photos" I guess.
They were shown a long time ago, before the phone was released. My guess is, that the phone on the pictures are a prototype-model used by themselves. And it probably got some different icons and so on, but then again,..I think its an Ericsson test-model.
And it does probably have the mms-software, and I guess it would be the developer-software called R1A.
And our phone is a M-model as well, just as Mikaalto says.
There arent really any reason why we discuss this model,..its the prototype of our phone.
And as everybody know, it should have had the mms-software from the beginning, but that was changed for the production-model.
And we'll be getting the mms later.

Mark : yeah, I know,...its the MMS-syndrome hitting us all, hehe
All these rumours are just flying around,.. people see "something" on a website, and suddenly : Ohh my god, they're cheating us ! they're building a new phone ! our phone is crap !! and so on....hehe
I believe people will take it more easy, once we get the damn mms-upgrade
