Hi, I´m looking forward to buying a new mobile and use it a music player. However, i´m concerned about sound quality. I´m used to listing music on my cd-player (working bravely and relentlessly since 1997) with good headsets, the best quality of portable music i´ve experienced so far. My question is: how good is the sound quality on k750 or w800? is it comparable to an ipod or a cd-player with good headphones?
the idea of having a phone with all my music wherever i go is pretty cool but i dont wanna end up expending quite a lot of money on something that sounds like a small battery radio.
thx a lot! |

the music on my W550i/K750i/W800i/P910i can be however high/low quality I want, for example;
K750i - I am using a 2Gb memory stick at the moment so all the music on their is high quality and takes up A LOT of space on the memory card
P910i - 1Gb memory duo in this phone, mostly have large documents that I transfer to my laptop on it and some music, but its poor quality (still ok to listen to) but its a lower bit rate therfore has lower file sizes
to end this, if you want high quality (CD standard) songs then you need to be prepared to have less amount of songs on your memory card than what you could get if you compressed them, but compressing them loses sound quality.
personal choice at the ned of the day, but before you make up your mind I'm sure other people will contribute to this thread!

If you get the right headphones, you can do fine. Just don't do what I did and try to get a £1.98 iPod
