Hi Fellows
I am trying to simplify the problem of browsing internet on the phone using the PCs internet connection.
There been threads about this, but the process is not nice and easy.
I'm in the process of writting my own web browser application. I recently came up with the idea of making to browser such that it can use bluetooth to use pc internet connection to browse.
This will involve writting another application to run on the computer to serve the requests for this browser.
Anybody keen to contribute on this development.
Please ! ! ! |

if the computer was not connected to the internet, how do you intend to share internet in the first place?! eheh

yes it does actually, because it uses your device (mobile) as an extension of your computers network by assigning it an IP address!

..err ok, so whats your point then? pc suite transfers files and the jdk is just the developers java programming isn't it?
anyway I'm not trying to have a moan at you/anyone (that comes naturally) but was merely pointing out that you don't need to create a new program for sharing IP connectivity for the j2me platform and would be best concentrating your efforts on the new browser, who knows it may compete with the likes of opera mini etc.

That website specifies Symbian OS compatibility.
I guess that means no K750's and K700's etc.
