K750i setting screen saver will change clock screen timing? |

Hi guys, had been checking this forum out for some time. A wealth of imformation in here! Well, something is bothering me big time. Was wondering if you can help with this.
Usually, the backlight sequence of my k750 goes like this.
1. After last keypress, backlight stays on for abt 10s.
2. After 10s, backlight slowly dims.
3. After backlight off completely, clock screen appears immediately.
Earlier today, I went to set my screensaver (previously set to none) to some pic. Realised that it sugs, so set it back to none. Afterwhich, my backlight sequence became like this.
1. After last keypress, backlight stays on for abt 10s.
2. After 10s, backlight slowly dims.
3. After backlight off completely, still showing my operator logo screen!
4. After another 10s, then the clock screen appears.
No matter what I did, I can never get my clock screen to appear immediately now! I had this problem before, but today, I've finally discovered the root cause i.e. setting a screensaver for the first time. I know this can be fixed by master reset ALL (I've tried it before, once), but guys, any other hints?
For some reason, apparently, this issue is really bothering me. Help!!
Thanks people, much appreciated.

some people are easily bothered (just kidding!)
testing this, I observed exactly what you said pre screen saver and then after disabling it.
it then occurred to me to disable the "sleep mode clock" and then re-enable it (settings, display, sleep mode clock) and now the behaviour is back as you first observed, i.e. the clock is displayed as soon as the backlight goes fully off.
hope this works for you so you can get some sleep
