Why are the k750 and w800 still priced so high? |

Why are these phones still so expensive on eBay and the For Sale forum here? You can get the w800 from Buy.com for $430 and free shipping here:

well, u should contact that site and ask it. if they can sell it and there is anybody who buy it for that price, why not?

Maybe because both of em are still popular? Also, i don't think the price of the k750 is that high (atleast in India)

Prices of these two phones in Jakarta, Indonesia are also still high.
K750: Rp 3,925,000 (USD 390)
W800: Rp 4,925,000 (USD 490)
Because they are so popular?
What I heard is SE even to stop the supply of W800 to the retailer...

I don't know if this ever happened, but here in Portugal K750i prices went up instead of down. 
Optimus (local operator) start selling them for 229 euros in August, this week they changed it's price to 309 euros!!! 
I heard it was because there was an "exporting" business blooming, and also our fellow spaniards were coming here to buy them cheaper.

In South Africa the W800i is ridiculously priced, around US$400 but I suspect the price will drop soon after Christmas...also the impending release of the W900i should hasten matters for all us bargain hunters.

its really ridicule... i have to pay 1/3 of a VERY GOOD wage to buy one K750i... |

The phones are in short supply and people really want these phones so  is selling them @ the highest price they can get for them. |

In Cambodia the prices are as follows:
K750i: US$375
W800i: US$470
I bought my K750i 4 1/2 months ago at US$360. I did asked the official SE retailer here and they told me that SE had indeed increased the price of the 2 units. They also told me that SE phones could not be compared with NOKIA phones as the latter's price always tend to drop while SE phones do appreciate sometimes. |

Here in Romania the k750i is around 320-350 Euros which is a good price imo.

In Serbia price for a k750 is in range 300-450euro and for w800 380-500euro
