W800i Jabra BT250v won't connect. |

My W800i won't pair up with my Jabra BT250v.
Just does not see it but my Nokia 7610 can see it straight away.
Anyone else had this problem? | |

Just got my W800i today, and one of the first things I did, was to pair up my BT250v with it. Worked first time, and works perfect so far. Mine has the latest firmware in it as well.

Dont suppose you could run me through the way you did it please.
I have no information about bluetooth or pairing up in my w800i information pack and the CD is corrupt so I am guessing.

Now my Nokia won't see the W800i and the W800i just locks up with the light on when I go into bluetooth. I have to take the battery out then and restart it.
How do I know what version of firmware is on the phone? Could this be the problem?
Any ideas anyone please. |

OK I switch the BT250v on and keep the button held until the blue light goes solid, then on the W800 switch bluetooth on, and go to my devices, and new device, the phone then finds the BT250v and asks for the code, which default is 0000, do this and it then completes the pairing, you now press connect, and the two connect and away you go.

Thanks for that Volvoman.
I have got them to connect now but the only problem now is that when the W800i rings I get no response from the Jabra but I know they are paired up. The phone just rings and I have to answer it in the normal way. I think that it is something to do with the profilis. Can anyone help on that one please.
What profile do you have set up Volvoman? |

I have it set to port hands free profile, and it seems to work fine, just press the answer button on the headset, and it answers the call. Vibrate function works the lot.

I have tried the headset on my friends phone and it works ok so the phone is faulty. I have confirmed it with Orange and a new handset is being sent out but thanks for your help. | |
