Yes, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but the server was down for quite a long time. The server responded to ping but was not able to serve pages. I was not able to log in and reboot it. Not even the guys at the hosting senter was able to log in at the console. The error logs did not report anything special, so it is impossible to find our what caused the problem. The server had to be cold started. Anyone know of a Linux program that can write some human readable information to log-files when something like this happends? Send me a private message if you do. A kernel dump will not tell me much. | |
