Help! I'm a Globe prepaid subscriber, and for a couple of days now I couldn't receive any text messages on my k700i. I didn't change any of the settings. I can send messages and make and receive calls fine, though.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot~ |

check your Data Comm\SMS access settings and make sure it is set to GSM and not GPRS

try to insert to another phone... if you still CANNOT RECEIVE sms, try calling up globe or change to smart.
gprs and gsm settings has nothing to do w/ RECEIVING..

well when i set mine to gprs i could send no problem but couldn't receive anything so... tried that already before. i'm on smart tho. maybe globe is different. |

GPRS settings could affect SMS if you use that as the data bearer instead of the standard gsm channel for sms |

not sure though,
but i also use "gprs" on smart for faster sending....
but not w/ globe and sun
receiving... no problem if its on gprs or gsm
