I wonder will Sony Ericsson be coming out with new Business phones which doesn't have any cameras on it but yet have powerful PIMs and email browsers (blackberries, etc...berries). Nokia have shown one of its many cards and will SE react to that? Hmmmm.....Businesses are seeking for non-camera phones but with productive tools.

I seem to recall a topic discussing the P* series of phones for business, etc. I myself use a P910i but have disconnected the camera as I'm not allowed for security reasons to carry a camera around my workplace.

This seems to be the only way round me being able to use my P910i smartphone in my business.

Whether will release any dedicated business-type phones without a camera is a question that can only be answered with time. [addsig]

the P910/990 can work with blackberry
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA

true, but they have camera's..

the question stated was will any such devices be manufactured WITHOUT a camera on it.

reason being that certain companies restrict the usage of cameras in the working environment so the only way round this is what I am doing, take my P910i apart and diconnect the camera module [addsig]

I agree.

probably the best solution for business people with this requirement would be to have a low end phone without camera combined with a good PDA such as iPAQ
