Hi Guys,

I took my K750i apart to fit a new housing, I followed the SE-NSE instructions. But when I put it back together everything works perfectly except the camera!

When you go into the camera the cam button lights up and then it reverts back to the standby screen after less than a second.

It took me ages to take it apart and I can't face doing it again! I am now left without a 2.0 MP Cam because my SEUS upgrade went wrong on my W800i and I think I might have broken my K750i! Is there anyone who has any tips to help as it would be much appreciated?

Cheers

Dan

@dan - Looks like you have very little options left here dude Do you have some 'skilled' celfone technicians near you? (even not authorized, but has a good reputation of fixing mobiles). [addsig]

Hmmm.. Seems that way alright. I don't understand why its not working, im usually pretty good at taking apart and fixing phones. I spose I'll just have to bring it into Dublin and see if any of the Phone shops have an idea.

@dan - Btw, where did you buy your mobile pal? While waiting (for miracles to happen ) Why NOT give it a TRY - again . . . doing it all OVER from step 1, maybe you just missed the most important part when putting back the - 'minute' parts . . . Good Luck ! [addsig]

eBay! I think i'll have to have another go at it, I'd say I've voided my warranty by removing the cover anyway. It only cost me £105 anyway as the casing was badly scratched, so its not all bad!

well seeing the phone is under a year old you should be able to take it back to the shop you got it from.

@jagger - Here in Manila most of the handsets being bought in celfone shops or even the ones taken/bought under contract are usually donned by 'tamper-proof-stickers' on top of the screws. So it will just be very noticeable if the fone has been opened or NOT ! It will surely go under 'strict scrutiny' when requesting for a replacement . . . [addsig]
