um, plug the phone into the PC? As long as you have XP or 2K it will just appear as a external drive I think. (mine does)

ehm, how did you then fill the 512mb to begin with ?

Like said, simply connect the phone to your pc with the usb cable, if no usb drivers are installed let it automatically install the drivers from windows update or use the cd which came with the phone, after that you have a new removable drive, look under "my computer" or use the windows filemanager. Then simply copy everything to your computer, replace the memorycard and copy back.

you could also connect both the phone and a usb cardreader, then copy directly from the memorycard in the phone, to the memorycard inserted in the usb cardreader. Or the other way around if you switch memorycards first.

if you really have no usb connection (you should sort that out) then you could use the phones internal memory as a transfer cache.

For example copy everything on internal memory to the new card, then delete it from internal memory. Put the old card back in, copy 38MB of stuff off the card into internal memory, then delete that stuff off the card. Put the new card in, then copy the internal memory to the new card, then delete it from internal memory.

Keep doing this until all the stuff is transferred off the old card onto the new.

Mind, it'd be easier to just copy 512MB of stuff via bluetooth (I'm assuming that's how you got it there in the first case since you can't use the usb for some reason?)
If you filled the card soley from gprs downloads, bloody well done!
