I recently changed the housing on my s700i and all seemed to go well.
That is until I received a phonecall and couldnt here the person on the other end.

Everything else works just not the mic.
I have put it in two ways now put still nothing.

Am i doing something wrong??????

sorry, i ment when u had the problem at call, u had the new one on, right? is the new one original one? third party covers can cause such weird problems, even 1mm difference...

i think he had the new non OEM housing on when he got the call, then when he couldnt hear anyone, he put the OEM back on.

The point is, what to do now. Looking at the varied possibilities that might be causing this- a SE Service Point is a better bet. And believe you me, even those "trained" guys have their time with THE S7.. it did look a job which needed steady nerves (AND a steady hand ) Am not saying this just coz twas mine. The form factor and the layout IS complicated.. one crystal, one circuit path, one IC.. wrongly handled can cause enough issues

what i saw, that these non orig housings "push" the micro, etc and as mentioend before, these tiny differences could cause calling problems, vibra isnt working well, faulties at charging etc
