CellStik Saves Mobile Data
Topic: Phones
There's nothing quite like the joy of trading in an old phone for a shiny new one loaded with cool features. But even with PC sync apps, transferring old address book entries tends to kill the buzz a little. That's why you need the CellStik. For $40, this little USB drive snaps onto your phone and transfers all your info with a push of a button. Then you stick it into your USB port and shoot it at your PC. If you've happened to buy a new phone with the exact same connector as your old one, you're in busines; otherwise, you'll need two CellStiks (or you'll have to go back to using something like Susteen DataPilot) to finish the job. But if all you want to do is backup data from your phone to your PC, this little drive looks like just the ticket. So far, the CellStik comes in versions for Audiovox, Kyocera, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, Sanyo, Siemens, and Sony Ericsson.
