Hi all after my experience with my mobile k750i i will urge you to stop trying and never begin that f**kin update.
Reason why is because SE website is not good prepared forthis kind of activity and trying to do that is just time consuming and risk..

Yup. There are several people who have had no issues whatsoever, using SEUS. That includes me. It appears that you have had a not so good experience. But it definitely does not warrant branding the service as useless.

If youre implying that everyone has problems and noone can update, and those saying they have updated are lying, then you are definately way off track.
I as well as hundreds, thousands of others have updated their phones, and if youd care to look in the software section you would find hundreds of posts about upgrading, how to do it and information for those that have problems, both in regards to why someone cannot update, and to what problems there may be and how to fix updateproblems.
But since you dont really say anything about what your specific problem is, its kinda difficult to make any other sensible suggestions than use the search function.

sorry but you really do sound rather rash 'Ms Newbie'. Maybe if you did a little investigation before attempting an update and you are postively sure of what you are messing around with and WHY you are messing round with it, maybe you would understand a bit better what you are doing and how to solve it. By the way, you are about the billionth person to start a thread like this |

theres bound to be problems as no two computers are the same. certain firewalls or anti virus or spyware applications could cause problems with the update.
your isp maybe a problem the quality of the line may also be a problem.
ive updated twice now no problems but other have had prblems.
i would perfer to be able to download the software then connect the phone offline then there shouldnt be a problem from network or anything else.
however se have chosen the method they wish to use and then as customers we have a chose to use it or take it to a service centre or not update if your having no problems |

ive seen the threads as well and i believe your not the only one but your one of a small number.
from what im reading your phone works in all aspects except the camera?
if so what i would do is get rid of all se stuff off your computer including the update files and service. there files for the update service should be found in PROGRAM FILES/SE and there will be 2 folders 1. mobile 2. update service. uninstall all of theses.
then reboot ,check there is no file called sony ericsson in program files. install the cd that came with the phone. then go on line and get the usb drivers related to the update (incase its asks) then start the whole update processes again, this time turn off your anti virus and turn off your firewall. (i wouldnt normally advise anyone doing this but in this case it might be the best option)
see where this gets you, apologises if youve tried this already but i am at a loss as to come up with any other suggestions |
