I've got a 2 month old K750i from O2 (UK) and I've been switching between my UK & NZ sim cards while I am on holiday in NZ, but today when I switched it back on it just continuously flashed white / black at me & nothing would happen.

I can't find any info about this problem on the net so any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Insurance should cover it when I get back to the UK but in the meantime I am stuck without a phone

Thanks

also happened to me a week ago... when i went to china. i turned the phone off in the airplane as required... when i landed in china the same thing happened. couldnt get the phone to turn on and just flashes black and white. good thing there was a nearby SE service center near where i stayed. apparently they just resetted the phone.. took about 30 mins, free of charge. all my phone's data is gone though.

they said there was a software problem. they were talking really technical stuff in chinese but i can only understand so much.

Cheers mate, there is a tiny Vodafone shop in the town I live in so I'll give that a go but no doubt they will have to send it away & by the time it gets back I will be heading for London again.

Did it delete all your contacts?

Thanks

I've experienced same problem (twice or more, don't remember). Then I plugged my k750 into charge adapter, nothing happened for a good 20 mins but later, it started to charge.

I've seen this happening with my k750 and old w800.

Try to charge it before going to service center, even if you think that the battery isn't empty. Plug into charge adapter and wait for an half hour. It could help.
