I have a Dlink DWL-520 wireless network card in my pc, but i formatted the pc yesterday and i need to install the driver, i have lost the original setup CD and would be very greatful if someone could upload theirs if they have the same one. I have tried to download the driver from teir site but it didnt seem to work.

ah! the subtlety of the extra plus

if you go to this link

http://support.dlink.com/downloads/

and manually select DWL in the left hand list and 520 ni the right hand list you can choose your revision version of the hardware and thence on to the support page for that revision

yeah, yours works if it is that first version but if its a different revision he will need to choose it from the list of revisions.

@cycovision, yeah, thats why I didn't try to link to any specific revision

much simpler way, find the ftp server they use

ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Wireless/DWL520/

thats all the files that they have for the DWL-520 direct from D-Link, the files include drivers, manuals and resources!

hope one of us helpful chaps can find the solution here [addsig]
