Can i ask why you aren't considering the W800i?

From your little list I would personally go for the W900.

The w900 is the best from your shortlist. I don't think the W800i is childish. its Stylish. (and better than the W900).

Ouch... If you are comparing sizes... No phones other than the V3x, and some upcoming Japanese and Korean brand (really, I forgot whether it is Samsung, NEC or whatever are going to offer new slim music phone) are going to satisfy your need.

If you have to choose, V3x is better, size wise. But if you want to hear some music on the go, with some practicality, W900i. Currently I use W550i, okay it is quite big and thick, especially with the keypad exposed. But it is practical, with the V3x you have to open the flip to talk, with the W550i (and W900i) you do not need to. Listening to music is quite practical too... While the keylock is active, the play/pause button is still active (long press) and the volume button acts as a next and previous button (long press).

For battery life, I got 16 hours+ on single charge with continous music playback, and with the GSM radio active (I think I have written it somewhere in this forum). Probably I got high mark because of the W550i uses internal memory. If I am not mistaken, external memory demands higher battery consumption... CMIIW though. But if I am right, and that W900i have 400+ MB of internal memory, you could in theory stores your most listened song on the internal memory and the external memory could act as back-up, so you could have high battery life.

But hey... I got to give credit where it is due, and that V3x is one hot model. But I do not know about the quality of the camera. W900i probably uses K750/W800 cam module so that is already proven.

just from the highlighted text, sorry to say head away from on this one mate, from past experience video recording has never been that good.. I would choose the Samsung D600 considering you want a mainly standard phone, but with high qulity camera & video recording. The D600 rates the same as the W900i with the 2.0mp camera, but apparently the video recording on the D600 is far superior. [addsig]

I agree video on Samsung phones is (generally) very good. Certainly on the E720. But why not consider the V3i? Just a V3 with a 1.23 megapixel cam and external memory. Which to me are the only things the V3 is missing.
