Ok guys, I know a lot of people have problems updating their W800 and K750.
A lot of people just don’t get to finish the update because they get errors.
First of all, in this explanation I assume that everyone reading this and trying to update knows the procedure of updating and has already installed the normal USB and the special software update USB drivers.

Now what worked great for me is the following:

1.) Backup any files on your phone to your memory stick or to your PC using you data cable.
2.) Take your memory stick duo pro out of your phone (check manual if you don’t know how to do this, be careful because you can actually damage you MS)
3.) Now go into your phone menu and in the settings menu look for the ‘Master Reset’. Reset ALL settings of your phone. Which means you will lose your messages, phone numbers, games etc etc.
4.) Now proceed with the normal update like you would.
5.) After the update turn off your phone. Wait for 20 seconds turn it on again and you should get the setup wizard which will allow you to setup your phone settings.

I used this method to update my phone. Also other people another forum have tried this method and until now it seems to be working.
What I’ve heard is that you only have to go through this procedure once. But I cannot confirm this since I have only updated my phone once.
Anyways even for people who know their phone updates fine, this would be something to be on the safe side.

Maybe the mod can sticky this so people can read this and know how to update.
And of course people trying this method are welcome to comment on their success or failure on using this method. But please be sure you have installed you drivers and the latest java virtual machine correctly before updating.

I used that method, and all the others people suggested and nothing worked. I sent my phone to nearest service center and got my phone back with the crappy R1N035. I wish I had never even tried to upgrade...
