I was on the way to the office this morning I had my K700 in my hand when I noticed it suddenly flashed white for no apparent reason. Battery was about 90% and I had about 2 MB free space at that time. It never stopped restarting since. I tried a master reset, deleting all content, NO GO. I tried draining the battery, but even during recharging with the phone switched off, it would keep restarting.
I;d say I've been taking good care of the phone (I've only had it for 3 months more or less, got it brand-new) I only *always* drain the battery before fully recharging (yeah I know partial charging's better for Li-ion batteries, but that's the only conscious self-destructive thing I've caused it) then again it would keep restarting even with the phone switched off during recharging..
I'm thinking of borrowing a friend's DSS-25 and use the SEUS site to reflash the firmware, though I'm not sure if this would help at all..
Anyone had the same problem? (I've read rants about K700 white screens but they all seem to have just taken the phone from where they bought it for an exchange;
* side note: unfortunately I can't do that, as this was a contest prize and I got no receipt whatsoever from where it was purchased

Try remove the memory stick... its happens with me...

Try wotanserver or davinci. It's a dead firmware..it happened to my R1L002 a year ago. A full flash will solve the problem.. |

Hey guys, I think I have a somewhat similar problem, except that I'm using a K500i phone. Whenever i turn it on, the thing just restarts endlessly upon reaching the start-up screen. The white screen just flashes all over again, and i can't use it at all.
How can i solve this problem? I'm quite new to this, and honestly, i'm not really familiar with this flashing/firmware upgrade thing. How do i start? If its, possible, can anyone post a step-by-step guide on how to go about this error? Thanks a lot. I hope someone responds soon coz i badly need my phone. |

Welcome new people! i have a k700i with vodaphone software. it used to restart when i went t the calendar menu but it stopped. try having it flashed. if that doesnt solve it, replace the phone
