W800 - Doesnt alert me to my new texts |

Before my phone used to show me who had texted me on the main screen before i opened it. Now my phone vibrates and just has the tiny icon at the top of the screen to tell me theres a new text and i have to go into the inbox to open it.
I also have message delivery notes turned on and this just vibrates instead of saying which message has been delivered and when.

I thought i was in a different part of the forum and have posted this in the wrong place... i wanted it in the general section. If you could kindly move it id be grateful.

turn off then on the fone. do know it sounds weird, but sometimes this esay trick solves a bug. give a try.
oh, take out the batt too

this happens to my K750i aswell, i've read it happening to a few others aswell. has only started happening when i've upgraded to R1N, turning it off and then back on again solves it for a while!

yeah turning it off fixes it for about 30mins.
no there arent any sony centres that i know about in my area |
