There are a lot of phones providing similar features. None of them is of course as well designed as the K700 and you can really use all the features whereas other manufacturers have a tendency to lock some features. Do some decent studywork.
If you do not expect the k700 to be a mp3-player, 40MB is a lot. It means you can take pictures, store themes, download applications etc. without ever worrying memory could be full. For mp3 it is almost nothing; say 4 or 5 songs in decent quality or maybe 10 if you squeeze them out.
It is a very good phone; the only thing that makes is somewhat outdated now is its camera which is one of the best vga-cams but there's 2MP now in the k750 and the memory. If you are ok with that this phone will be a good investment. |

Right, 40mb is enough for general use. If you want to actually listen to MP3's then in a short answer, no it isnt
Get an iPod Mini and K700i. Thats my view.

Because if the phone breaks then you've lost the phone capabilities and the mp3 player. |

For me 40MB is definitely not enough but you can actually make practical uses for it if you just manage it properly. Right now I have around 18 of my favorite songs in mp4 format (mono), around 40 games, 3 java (e-books) and ample space for around 40 VGA pics.
For mp3/mp4 compressor just google for dbpoweramp, cdex or itunes.

I managed a similar ratio of stuff.
I did away with my mp3player when I got the K700. Still, there is way less hassle maintaining decent music on the K750 (I use a 256MB MSD and wouldn't go much smaller). |

not enough these days... that is why most are already upgrading their 700s to 750i or w800...

you need a special cable. SE have one, check the stores.
You can use the cell as a mouse. It's called "Remote Control" do a search of esato you should find heaps of info. |

For transferring files, I would suggest you buy a bluetooth adapter. The cable and IR are just slow for transferring, specially large files.

I got a bluetooth adapter but when i transfer a song or something, it takes Forever! 3 minutes per song. It only takes about 6-10 seconds per song via the data cable or putting the card directly into the card reader.
Am i doing something wrong? |

You obviously mean K750i right? We're talking about K700i here and there's a huge difference between their transfer speed via cable. K750 uses true USB while K700i uses serial emulation through USB that's why its speed is very slow.
