noob question i know, and i'm nowhere near my manual right now => i had a mate complain to me a couple of days ago because i had apparently called him at midnight when he was in the middle of a one night stand.. i asked him why the hell he picked up the phone

in any case i didnt call him, my phone was just in my bag and was knocked enough times randomly to dial him..

so is it possible to lock the keypad a la menu,* on nokia's?

You lock the keypad by pressing * (star) + right-softbutton (I think it's called, the key furthest up om on the right side anyway)

Or, if you want it to be done automatically; go in to Settings, General and Locks. Choose Keylock and set in on automatic. Now, if you don't touch your phone for 20 seconds the keys locks.
