w800i batt problem? |

my fren jus bought w800i...he charged his phone using the normal charger(nt the usb charge) fr 8 hrs(first time charge)...but aft 8 hrs when he chk his phone...the batt bar is still nt fully charged...so he decided to wait fr a few more hrs...but its still the same...so he finally stop the charging...when he turn off the charging...the batt bar is fully charged...so my fren was wondering whether anything went wrg...if there is something wrg...izit the batt? or charger? or the phone itself? does anyone here experience this problem also? pls advice...tks

it could be a faulty charger, fw bug or the batt itself. let it check in se service, hard to say "blind" what s the problem.

I have the same thing with my one week ago purchased w800, do not think it is a charger, have no idea about the real reason |

I don't know about the w800i, but on my dap (rio carbon), the battery indicator needs to be "calibrated", so you have to charge it fully, then use it untill the battery is empty, and recharge it fully. And then it shows 100%
If you don't, the battery works just as well, only the indicator display 80-90% when it should display 100%.
I assume it might the same with the w800i.

I also think it might be faulty charger..
Or is it problem with some particular firmware version????
I'm having R1L on my w800i and didnt get that prom so far..

bets way is to try diiferent chargers, batts etc it should turn out then, whhat could be the problem
