Hi. Just a question regarding Pay As You Go coverage when abroad... I'm wonder if UK networks provide coverage in Canada...

On the Orange website if you go here http://www.orange.co.uk/cgi-b[....]ational/chooser.pl?tariff=payg it says there's coverage, but if you go here http://coverage.orange.co.uk/roaming/InternationalSearch.htm and enter Canada then check to see calling costs it says you can't use your PAYG phone in Canada... which is it? If you can indeed use your phone in Canada, the charges seem significantly lower than Voda or O2 (eg. 35p vs 49p for a text)

I know Virgin lets you use your phone anywhere abroad as long as you set up a direct debit for PAYG but lately I've been having a lot of problems with receiving texts from Canada so I'm think of making a switch back to Orange.

Thanks.

Using Pay&Go abroad is mad expensive. You end up roaming, recieving calls etc. start to cost ALOT.

I recommened buying a GOchip (Pay&Go) sim, when abroad. I do when i go to US (Cingular) And can text the UK for 5Cent.... that's like 3p!
