s700i NO SIGNAL. Help, please! |

I just got an s700i that a friend brought from abroad. Turns out that the signal strength drops to zero in a few seconds after turning it on. Sometimes, I can make calls or send some sms, but, for instance, during calls, I completely lose the audio and seconds later, the signal meter drops to 0 and "No network" or "Searching" show up. I've tried the phone with various sim cards (and locations) and the same thing happens. I don't think that it's something related to the network not accepting the phone, because it would never give me any signal whatsoever and sometimes it does. Should I take this phone to the provider's technical support?, does anybody know what can be done?. I'm desperate. Too bad I gave away my k700 2 days ago when I got this one

Take it to your local carphone warehouse or mobile phone store and explain the situation to them. Mate of mine had a similar problem and it turns out it was a stolen black listed phone that he got off ebay. It might be worth doing the same as he had the exact same problems as you. They should do a blacklist check for you. |

Wasn't a blacklisted phone. It fell so hard once, that the PA was loose. I got it fixed today. Cheers!
