MP3 player drains the k750i battery? |

I've noticed that if I leave the mp3 player on it drains the battery way fast. It's ok minimized, but when ive got it running normally the battery lasts a lot less (say 8 hours rather than days). Has anyone else seen this? You might only notice it over long periods, I have it running for 6 hours at work so I really notice the difference

edit: perhaps I should clarify: If its minimized it uses bugger all battery, like 20-30% (im not sure exactly) over 6 hours. but if its not minimised ill leave it sitting there for an hour or 2 and i lose half my battery!

i think the camera drains the battery much more than playing mp3:)

@womack its fone, not an mp3 player... according the batt capacity and the statement of @jn its normal...

minimize and maximize... either way it's just showing the walkman interface or not... don't think it will drain extra bat. |

Minimised the screen goes into powersave mode, but maximised for an hour means running the screen for an hour.
The audio player itself uses bugger all power, but use of the display sucks juice like mad

haha, good one, max
I recommend a can-phone solution, it doesnt use any power at all. problems can occour over moderate to long distances and around corners, though

ok at work today i did i scientific evaluation, checked the battery each hour with it minimised and un-minimised, and a found...
the phone uses 8% battery each hour with the mp3 player on (otherwise idle), whether the player is minimised or not. |

I think the lcd display that drains the batt the most, not the media player. So if u want to turn on media player, use the play/pause button so the screen still at the power save position.

D750i / K750i / W800i are the same phone, same battery, same firmware if fully upgraded, what kind of comment was that! ! !
