Hi, when creating a k500 theme you MUST use a softkey graphic and a statusbar graphic. That's just the way these themes work. Of course you could make the status/soft graphics match the desktop and standby animation, so that it looks as if it is one image.

JoolsG4 does a good job explaining howto in this thread

I can talk you through it only if you have ImageReady on your PC.

Basically you need an animation with the exact same resolution of the k500 screen (128x160).

Copy the top (128x14) and paste it in a new doc. Call it statusbar and save it. This image cannot be animated.

Copy the bottom (128x18) and paste in a new doc. Call it softkey and save it. This image cannot be animated.

Crop the animation to 128x128 starting 14 pixels from the top. Call it standby and save it. This will be the animation.

Drop the images in the corresponding areas in Themes Creator and you're done.

You understand that the animation cannot extend beyond the 14 top pixels and the 18 bottom pixels. You should look for/make an image that has animation in the middle area only.

Hope this helps.

ps. I just realized that you don't even talk about animations
The above goes for static images as well.
