Ok, i was just using the car 100 on my k700 and the battery ran out on the k700 and when i plugged it in, the phone doesnt seem to want to charge and the red light on the power button just stays on!!

whats the problem? any ideas?

turn off then on the fone, lets see what happens. sometimes so easy trick solves the problem

Bizarrely, my k700 did exactly the same thing a couple of days back. It was completely flat having not been touched since new phone arrived. I removed the batt, cleaned the contacts on batt phone and charger, plugged everything back in and it sprung into life with the charging screen. Booted normally too.

Sometimes it will take a little while for the phone to boot if the battery is completely drained.

the booting takes usually 30-40 secs after turning of the fone, its not recomended to try open the fonebook so long, rather give it 1 min to wait
