K750i battery problem, please help! |

Recently I was awoken during the night by my phone which alerted me to the battery being low. Previous to falling asleep the battery was 3/4 full. The morning after I turned the phone on only to find that the battery charge was at it's lowest. I thought that was strange but plugged it in to be charged nonetheless.
3 hours later I returned to find that the battery bar was full at green but 5 mins after unplugging the charger it was down at around 5% again and giving me the low battery alarm.
While this problem persists, the camera doesn't seem to function either.
I have not attempted any firmware upgrades or similar and have only had the phone for a month and a half.
I sent the unit back to be repaired and received it yesterday only to find that the problem still persists!
Has anyone had a similar experience, and do they have a solution?
Any help is appreciated.
Many thanks. |

I am sure that you have a faulty battery. however I hope you have sent it to a SESC authorised repair center.

I would also check your charger. I have had a couple of faulty SE chargers that somehow cause the phone to think its fully charged but after unplugging the battery shows that it hasn't been charged at all.
These have been replaced by SE, rectifying the problem, but I never received a satisfactory explanation

and it could be fw bug aswell. so the best solution is a "general check" in your nearest se service, hope u have warranty or at least the bill, which is almost the same as a bill in some countries. good luck

thanks for your replies. I had the phone sent off to a se repair centre but the problem still persists. I have replaced the battery and have charged the phone using both the charger and the usb cable on my pc - the problem still remains.
Going to have to send the phone back to the se repair centre I think/ |
