Hi guys, I need help.
I converted a Mp3 song to aac using dbPowerAMP music converter. Then I copied the file to the mem card.
I went to the phone interface but there was no option to play the file. AAC files are supposed to be a supported format on my w800i. BUT it is not playing.
Can anybody help me. Do I need another encoding software. Will I have to convert it ti mp49(aac). But How? I dont know how to convert it to mp4(aac)
Please Help me... |

Yes it supports AAC but it needs to be in a mp4 or m4a (itunes) container
dbpoweramp has codecs that either converts directly to mp4 or m4a and they also has a AAC to mp4 converter
Just look at their codec page and read a litle

CAn i get some more help. What is m4a equivalent of the 128 kbps mp3 sound. I am asking that to know so that I could encode the same to m4a and save some space.
Thanx again for the help. |

The equivalent is about 75 percent, in your case 96kbps.
