When I try to delete songs/videos directly from the media player.. it will say it is deleted.. when you go back to the list the file is still there!

Bug?

It works fine from the file archive browser though.

When you delete through the Media Player, your only deleting something from the playlist so to speak-similar to what happens when you delete something in the Library in Windows Media Player if that makes sense? :-)

yup .. you need to delete files via the file manager ..

the problem you're encoutering is a pain in the arse on a different level .. mp3 ringtones get added to the Now Playing list once previewed though the handset .. and if you delete them from that list (in walkman mode) they re-appear as soon as you exit and re-enter the walkman. Annoying just isn't the right word! ..

its not a bug
the default playlist is "all music", it will allways scan for and play all music. You cannot delete tracks from that playlist, as it will scan again next time you enter it.
To change you need to create a new playlist of your own, and specify which tracks you want.

thank you numb.... some common sense.

It seems everytime someone has some micro-issue with the phones interface, it's a firmware bug. Holy Jesus, no wonder peeps like mib1800 go on about bugs....

If peeps read the manual, there'd be half as many firmware bugs reported...
