mp3 ringtone quality on w800i |

Hi. Just wondering if the mp3s (when used as ringtones) sound different to the same mp3s when played back through the walkman menu on the SE w800i.
I used to have a k750i and the mp3s when used as ringtones sounds really off-key. Does the w800i have the same issue?
I have such bad luck. I sold my k750i on ebay a few weeks ago and reverted back to my excellent moto v620. My little kid threw the moto in a pond whilst on a family camping trip. It got recovered and even then the moto works- but the ring lights on the front go crazy and flash all the time and it intermittently switches itself off. I regret selling the k750i now.
Now im considering the w800i which i've seen around for less than i sold the k750i for. |

so far, my w800 has been playing my mp3s as ringtones perfectly fine.. |
