The big thing with these entry-level phones is that they are designed for fun and gaming. So I was wondering, do these phones support series 60 games, or the old series 40?

stupid question, since SE dont use nokia OS in their phones none of them will work, but if you asked about how compatible their java is i would guess that they are mainly the same, if you have luck your game will work

the question is "silly", however it's worth using this thread for a similiar theme:

my wife has got a Z520 and I tried some games perfectly suited for K700/K750.

PROBLEM:
The smaller screen resolution brings the majority of the games to be cropped, despite perfectly functioning... (eg. PuzzleBobble, Zuma Deluxe)

Also *useless* the "Resolution resizing" of the Z520. I've discovered that if a game doesn't support inside the native Z520 resolution 128x160 (or 128x90 with borders), this option is completely useless (the games still is cropped).

Maybe more luck with 3D games (I haven't checked so far). Preferably someone else should check (my wife isn't interested into games..) O:)

Bye, Macco

Only problem would be that resolution but otherwise S60 and S40 games should work fine.

@ Amax:

You see friend, this is the denomination used for all types of games, for how else will you categorize games, big, little and medium? Series 60 are K700 games and similar, Series 40 are T610 and similar. My question is, due to the Z520 and J300 screen size, are the new, better series 60 supported on there screen, or do we have to use the series 40. Get my drift?

It's a pity using just "small screen resolution" games.

I think that all K500 suitable games should be ok on a Z520.

Z520 does support 3D API, bluetooth API, FileSystem API,.. and many others.

Just using T610 games is not exactly what I'd define "using the best the phone offers"!
