its ca 5 times faster then normal wap, as i remember 384kb or whatever its called. i use umts system since ca 8 month, i do like it. one of the reasons i choose it was the fast internet.

@rats no network operator is currently offering 3g services in india . But airtel..hutch..bsnl announces that they will going to launch 3g network in december this year / may next year . So keep waiting :-). For 3g network in india then purchase a 3g phone . Because there is no mean for 3g handset without 3g network . Now cheers

thanks. i hav an airtel connection so i'll jus wait for them to start 3g. i am thinking of buying a w900 and it will be too expensive when it is released so i'l' hav to wait

I thought W900 already launched at INR 27000? Trilokesh is correct. But FYI, Airtel & Hutch ALREADY conducted successful test run/ soft launch of 3G. Its the Govt. thats dragging its feet over Policy issues. Pakistan actually might start 3G sooner than us. @Trilokesh- Are you game to purchase my P910 I got in Aug? The reason why I got it is negated & I intend to Sell it. In Warranty till July 2006. Am not comfy using it (Love my S700 & for whom I took 910 as a gift having refused to take it, its for sale)
