Storing messages on my phone is very usefull.

But how many messages can i store on my phone at once?

there have been many discussions in many threads about how many texts you can store in the K700.

The answer is 100 but there is a trick whereby you can save your texts as templates giving you limiteless text storage, as I understand it.

here is one example thread giving this answer

i used sim memory years ago, when fones had no internal memory. its so funny, k7 has 41mb memory, u can use it for everything, but not for more contacts or messages... funny...

Here is. You can store txt or mms in your phone till your phone memory is free. For that select any msg from inbox and go to MORE options now select SAVE. Then save it as a TEMPLATE. Then delete the msg from inbox. I have stored 800 msg by this trick in my f500i which have only 12 mb memory.

@Boba> Some fones have dynamic allocation of memory. Wherein, the same is shared by different processes or areas. If thats the case PhoneBook / Texts can use as much. As for the 'trick'- well.. I've at best used it for the mushy forwards etc. Not when I want to have proof of XYZee having sent that msg. Biznis msgs that have to be with sender details & time stamp..
