i just got a k750 (flashed to w800 =) and im still in that period where youre UBER careful with your new toy, as opposed to just careful.
anyway, i've notcied that the screen seems to easily get very smudged up. i rub it on my sleeve to get rid of the gunk but it doesnt always get rid of it.
i've ordered a case off of ebay but its the hard plastic one which doesnt cover the screen..
what methods do people here use to keep the screen free of smudges? |

Well..... What I did is kept the protected screen that came with it on... So that plastic cover on the screen is still there...(I'm kind of a clumsy 13 year old so I kept it on)... I don't know if I helped you but... I tried... LOL Bye, KLG2992 Kevin |

Your totally right. My k750's screen is worse than my computer monitor. One touch and Bam!
I got some screen protectors from:

They work very well. I can barely notice it's on the phone. Im very glad i got them.
I got 3 packs.
Mine where made for the k700i but fit fine on my k750i. |

cool, thanks for the link
obviously i dont want to get one of those cases / clear cases, because it'd make it stupidly hard to take a spontaneous shot with the camera.. not that i have, yet, but its about knowing you have the option, y'know? =) |

I've found the screen very durable and even with massive amounts of grease, muck, fluff and crap on the screen a nice hard rub with a soft cloth always brings it up sterling
My screen is in perfect conditon. |

lol .. those screen covers are the first thing to be ripped off my phones .. before even switching it on from new out the box they are gone .. as above .. good rub with a cloth or sleeve/t-shirt does the job fine .. but I do try to not touch the screen anyways .. if it's dusty or a hair falls on it try not to blow it away as you will inevitably leave tiny spots of spit along with breath fog/mist .. just wipe off with some clean (and pref' not abrasive) material. |

i just use the cloth used with reading glasses to wipe off dirt or grease on the screen, or when outside, with a quick swipe using my shirt i find some screen protectors dulls the screen color |

You really need a good case and screen protector for this phone. I'm super protective of my gadgets. Here is where I got my silicone case and screen protector from.

They are in Hong Kong.
I'm actually using a Martin Fields Overlay Plus rather than the pivothk one. They make awsome screen protectors and I got one for all my cameras and video games. You cannot tell you have it on and it's made of a rigid plastic material.

Now I keep my phone in my pocket without worrying about scratching it. |

I reckon the best thing to do is slap on a good screen protector, then you dont need to worry about cleaning the screen or anything like that. Plus, when the protector gets scratched you can simply replace it. Wiithout a protector on you would have to rplace the front housing (i think!)

as for me, i didn't remove the protector that comes with it. i brought a silicone case afterwards to keep the protector in place.
