I converted my mp3 songs to mp4. They all played fine on my PC. I transferred them to my w800 and some showed as mp4 video and therefore cannot be played. I renamed the unplayable ones to m4a again played fine on PC but cannot play on w800.
I used dbpoweramp to convert.. compression is 64kbps, HE. I tried 80kbps, LC, even tried it with Nero. Some were able to get detected correctly but not all. Anyone knows how to solve this problem? By the way, I am using R1N035. Could this be an addition to the number of growing bugs? hope not!

*I think I found the solution to the file transfer problem with R1N035 but still testing it.. I want to make sure first.. I will post it tonight..

It has to be LC - they do not support HC

Ive never had any problems with mp4 audio using either dbpoweramp/nero plugin or Itunes m4a audiofiles

Also using R1N035 - no problems there either

Convert the music file to aac. Then transfer it to the phone. Aac files have the m4a extension. ITUNES is ideal for conversion to aac.
