k using a bluetooth dongle using your XP sp2 drivers for it...

Turn BT on phone on set phone visibility on...

On pc BT click on discover new devices when the phone comes up click add and next...

It should be automatic from then on... [addsig]

u cant create a pin on the phone but you can create a ramdom on the pc and then enter it on the phone...

I dont know what else to suggest since I never had issues unless Im using the BT dongle drivers instead.... those dont support the connection even though they suppose to... [addsig]

I agree.

The PC will give you the option of using your own pin code or randomly generating an 8-digit number for you. The latter is the best option.

Note: enter the pin number promptly or time will run out and you'll have to re-enter.

When pc asks you to enter pin, enter 1111. Then re-enter 1111 on phone.

Rana- Good Going. Default :se: SE codes for pairing, PIN etc is '0000' for unbranded devices atleast. For future ref. just in case. > "All" the keys of the lappy wont work over RC of your handfone. What exactly are you missing and think isnt working rite when it should ?

I may have missed it from a previous post, but If your using the Bluetooh drivers that come with the dongle the chances are this is the cause...

Xp sp2 bluetooth stack works better I think than the manufactures drivers....

If your just pluging the dongle and XP is doing the rest then I am out.... [addsig]

Of what I understand (which in itself isn't much) and use off my phone, the Remote Control allows the Phone to access/ delete/ pull files on Comp. The Media Player, Presenter, Audio Gateway etc. are seperate, right ?

If you're using original bt drivers, before first use, you must activate serial port.
