My service provider works with 1900 Mhz, but it doesn't support UMTS, so I was wondering if I bought a k600, would it be compatible with my service provider? I so, would it work properly?

no worries at all.

However K750 has memory expansion (aka use it as an mp3player) and 2MP camera advantages over K600...

Two more questions on the K600i, does it still have normal GPRS, meaning I can still use Wap and MMS even though my service provider doesm't support UMTS, only normal connections. Can I customize SMS tones on this phone aswell?

K600i supports GPRS as well UMTS. If your service provider enables GPRS, you can use it with your K600i. So you can browse wap-sites and send/receive MMS (though, your service provider must enable MMS-service also).

About SMS tones I don't know.

You can assign whatever sound you want to be used as a ringtone. Finally...
