Has anyone done this already? I've tried doing this on seus but when it asks me to remove the usb cable, wait for 20 seconds after which I press and hold c and connect the usb cable, nothing happens the update progress stays in 0%. I know there was a previous topic on this in "firmware overview for k750/w800" and i've downloaded the service update usb driver which comes in zip form. but after downloading, two files are extracted from it, one is epiusb setup information and epiusb system file. can anyone tell me what to do with this? i haven't come across a window that was asking for this and there neither was an autorun feature that would install this automaticaly. pls help! |

i found that when i plugged in the phone with C held down it wants to install the phone as a "flash device". Point the hardware installation window to the extracted USB update drivers you got from the SE website and the program should update.
It did take me 2 attempts to get it started though...i did have to end the update process and restart in order for it to see my phone. |

how long do you hold the C after connecting the usb cable? nothing happens to mine when i do this. I've tried manually installing the epiusb drivers to windows-> system32->drivers-> but nothing happens when i update. could you do me a favor? could you go to windows-> system32->drivers-> and see if epiusb driver and setup information is there? just want to make sure it went to the right folder. tnxs. |
